Jehovah's Witnesses and The Memorial

Jehovah's Witnesses commemorate Christ's death by observing the Lord's Evening Meal (Memorial) each year on Nisan 14 of the Jewish calendar. This annual celebration is a morbidly mysterious night out for Jehovah's Witnesses.

Not only are the Witnesses "commanded to attend", "respectful observers" eagerly anticipate prospective "partakers" in the hopes of having a hot topic to discuss in field service the following week. During this quasi-Christian ceremony, unleavened bread and unadulterated wine are passed around the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide.

Those who are part of the heavenly class (144,000) are the only ones who partake of the symbolic emblems. Although non-Jehovah's Witnesses are also invited to attend, they are typically perplexed by the fact that so few partake of these symbolic emblems, since Jesus Christ told everyone it was necessary to partake. In essence, through passing the bread and wine to the next person and refusing to partake, these "respectful observers" are rejecting Christ, ultimately proving they are on Satan's side.

With the Memorial approaching after sundown on April 17, 2011, it's time to start planning for a peaceful demonstration. Former Jehovah's Witnesses are joining forces and eagerly awaiting the Annual Memorial Night Demonstration at local kingdom halls. This is an excellent opportunity to expose to the Witnesses' relatives, friends and Bible studies what the The Watchtower Organization is hiding behind. Signs and banners this year will be focusing on shunning and child molesting. If you would like to participate, contact us and we can help you have a successful demonstration.

Be sure to check out our videos from past demonstrations on our YouTube channel.

  1. We can always depend on you to generously share any correspondence you get from the Organization and I'm so grateful because it's something tangible I can now pass along to the JWs in my neck of the woods who are interested in knowing about this "discretely".

I love and appreciate each and everyone of your youtube videos. Thank you!

  2. Yes there are major problems with the WTS. I am in stealth mode and am still deeply involved. But protesting in front of KHs is disrespectful and does more harm than good.

I'm sorry, that's just my opinion. It feeds into the "angry apostate" argument and makes it that much harder to try and reason with a brother or sister.

  4. i have been disfellowshipped but it was because i did something wrong & was not repentant. i have been reinstated & i really think that you are an apostate. the info regarding being shunned, even by family members, is in the bible. not something the witnesses thought of. you can speak to family as long as it is not of spiritual matters. you are either on god's side or satans. i know what side you are on! where have you gone to find an organization more beautiful? you sound like a pompous idiot!

  6. I was raised as a witness and dropped out at age 16 and have not been back since. However; I find sites like this are so immature, resentful and of no purpose. To extend so much of your time and energy on an issue that you want nothing to do with...speaks volumes! In fact it sends the message you are hurt and are being spiteful.I have no idea what the future holds...but given what the world is like at present.. I may one day regret a lot of things I have done and the fact I ignored what I was taught, but blasphemy won't be one of them!

  7. Anonymous (above), although you dropped out at age 16 you still believe JW's is the only true religion. Rick and others don't! And, they are attempting to expose this. You many judge his motives as unpure, but I think the "information" he puts forth speaks for itself - have you read and digested this information? I mean, offer a comment that gets to the details. Have you noticed any errors in what is presented? If so, what are they?

  8. My request to JW apologists. Don't be like the thousands of fly-by posters who dump their judemental feelings onto web-sites like this. It's not meaningful and the posts have no depth. If you want to post meaningful posts, prove that Rick's information is false! If you can't do that, then maybe you should be questioning the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses.

  9. Wow! The latest call to the WTS headquarters was an eye-opener. They didn't want to talk about anything involving the Jaycee Dugar case. No wonder, there were ties to the Jehovah's Witness religion. It was interesting that the representative for the WTS didn't want to talk about JWs who do bad things as BEING a Jehovah's Witness! I thought the respresentative was very evasive and sugar coated any of the bad press that JWs have been getting for their many recent terrible news reports about certain members. Look at the elder in CA who murdered his wife for the life insurance money! He was an elder for JW's! Sadly, many in his congregation were character witnesses to this evil person!

  10. Thanks so much for the information that you always provide on this blog and on your website. It is about time that the JW's are exposed for the lies and chauvanistic way they try to show others that they are "the truth". when in reality, they really aren't all that they are cracked up to be. I do not support any religion that protects child molestors and do little if nothing to help their victims. I am also following your blog on my own and I look forward to reading any more that you have to share here and on your website.

Keep up the good work. Your hard work and efforts are always appreciated. Again, keep it up.

  11. Satan? You are truly an idiot. I am not a witness but have studied their teachings and found so much truth. They are the only Christians that truly go by the Bible and dont just pick what they choose to follow. There is hypocrisy and corruption in every religion, but ignorant people such as yourself always seek to find and harass witnesses. When Jesus Christ was here he preached the word to any and everybody who would listen and that exactly what Jehovahs Witnesses do. Instead of protesting against them quit wasting your time and invest it into something else..look around you and start with yourself.

  12. Oh and another thing..people do bad things, we are of flesh so we can always be corrupted but it doesnt mean you can associate child molesters with every witness or even the religion just because one unfortunate situation.

  13. Rick. I was once referred to as "a filthy child of the world" and not allowed to nap on your own couch after being invited into your own home lest I contaminate it. While I am deeply sorry for the loss of your wife, it was she who named me so. This was while you were still deeply entrenched in the cult. I am so proud of you for breaking out and attempting to make amends to those you have hurt, both family and extended family.

I have forgiven Inez and you both and am saddened for the family I never really got to know. I am not a Christian but find what you do better than the JW alternative. You are 100% correct in one thing, JW breaks up families. I wish ours had had your support rather than hatred and scorn so that we might to this day have a relationship. I'm proud of you for taking a stance I never thought you would. If this saves even one child from the abuse subjected to them by the families' acting on "churches' orders, your work has been worthwhile.

    1. What a profound post above. Wow. I'm in awe. I struggle so much with the concept of forgiveness. Thank you , whoever you are/were...addressing your own pain and not minimizing it, while also, conveying to them their responsibility in such. And then, giving him and his wife the salutations they no deserve, as they now know the error of their ways and are actually, tangibly doing something pro-active in trying to stop it from going on any further than it has to.

I do not, for a second, doubt that Inez spoke those words to you once upon a time....I am sorry for all you have felt for so long with those words seared in your Spirit. That dimension of pain is not easy for the populas to comprehend. I assure you though, a great many of us know full well the extent of your emotions.

Thank you so much for your honesty and integrity. Your post has inspired me.....take good care. :-)
